Day 1

Welcome the Goenen Family to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe!

Your Adventure Begins! Settle into your home for the next six nights. You will plan and schedule your Activities, with each day offering new experiences and African Wildlife encounters.

Victoria Falls National Park

Located in Northwestern Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls National Park, is home to Victoria Falls, "The Smoke That Thunders". The mighty Zambezi River creates what is considered to be the World’s Widest Waterfalls.

Measuring 1,708 Metres in Width, Victoria Falls is one of the most iconic, sought after experiences in Africa.

The Park has dense Rainforest, with water spray from the Falls. The Park is mainly populated by Baboons, Warthogs, and Monkeys. The Flora includes Ferns, Palms, Liana Vines, and Mahogany.

The Wallow Lodge is located in the Wild Horizons Wildlife Sanctuary, a Private Concession in the Victoria Falls National Park. Each En-Suite Room is designed for “modern meets classic” Safari feel. The luxury tents have a raised, private balcony with uninterrupted views of the Masuwe River.

Your Family will have two (2) of the 16 Luxury Tents.

Elephant Art Safari

Kaitlyn and Cindy will share one of the most unique Safaris in Africa - An Art Safari!

Learn about the magnificent African Elephants, followed by a Guided Painting Experience.

For Kaitlyn’s Sweet Sixteen Birthday Year, take home the memory of spending time with and painting the African Elephants - in the wild!




White Water Rafting

Jamie and Mark get ready for adrenaline. As Jaime celebrates her High School Graduation, the mighty Zambezi awaits!

The Zambezi River Rapids are officially defined as “Grade 5” by the British Canoe Union. A White Water Rafting Experience like no other in the World!

Please note: As these are considered by many the wildest white water in the World, bring clothing accordingly.

Luxury Sunset Cruise

Enjoy participating in the traditional “Sundowner”, while cruising along the Zambezi.

Your family will experience Game and Bird Viewing from the luxury Zambezi Royal, a single-level Cruise Boat.

Cindy & Mark can reflect on their precious 20 Year Wedding Anniversary, with the backdrop of the iconic African Sunset.


Lookout Café

Staying at The Wallow Lodge, your family will enjoy Complimentary Transfers and the Fully Inclusive one (1) Breakfast or Lunch at the Lookout Café during your stay. Perched 120 metres above the turbulent rapids of the Zambezi River, the Café overhangs the spectacular chasm of the Batoka Gorge, just down from the iconic Victoria Falls Bridge, which forms part of its backdrop.

Arrive in time for your first Boat Cruise, aka Water Safari

Chobe National Park

Chobe is Botswana’s first National Park and currently the third largest. Here you will find the Kalahari Elephants. They are the largest species of Elephants, yet have shorter tusks. With a population of over 50,000, Chobe National Park is considered the "Elephant Capital of the World". Due to this large population, Chobe is one of the few places in Africa where Lions can be found hunting Elephants.

In addition to over 460 different species of Birds, Chobe offers large concentrations of Lion Prides, Roan and Sable Antelope, Journeys of Giraffe, Kudu, Zebra, Wildebeest, Warthog, and possibly seeing the elusive Leopard and endangered Wild Dogs. On your Water Safaris you will gain another perspective of the Park, seeing many Hippopotamus Pods, as well as Nile Crocodiles.

Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River, sharing a border with Chobe National Park. Right on the doorstep is the meeting of four African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.

Mark will have a chance to explore a unique part of Southern Africa History. As Kasane's first tourism offering, Chobe Safari Lodges history spans over 100 years. Here you will spend the next three days, in your Milestone Year, celebrating in beautiful Botswana.

With renovations being completed in 2024, Chobe Safari Lodge is updated and fresh.

You will have two rooms at Chobe Safari Lodge, each with En-Suite Bathroom, including a Ball & Claw Footed Tub.

Wake up bright and early for your Botswana Activities.

Boat Cruises

Botswana offers Africa’s best Boat Safaris. Also known as a “Water Safari”, you can get up close to an abundance of Wildlife.

Your Boat Cruise may be interrupted for traffic, as Herds of Elephants frequently cross the Chobe River. Hippos and Crocodiles can be seen basking in the sun next to the water.

Morning Game Drives

Wake up and head out into Chobe National Park. Here you will experience the “Changing of the Guard”. All the sights, sounds, and smells associated with the nocturnal shift handing over to the day shift.

Your Guide will find the perfect spot for you to enjoy Tea, Coffee, and Rusks on Safari.

To secure the booking, a Written Confirmation within 14 Days of Receipt of E-Itinerary is required. A 30% Booking Confirmation, of which 10% is a Non-Refundable Deposit, is required by 15 January 2025.

*Payments up to Sixty (60) Days prior to Departure, when Payment in Full is required, will be decided by mutual agreement by time of Written Confirmation.

Cancellation Policy:

Less the 10% Non-Refundable Deposit, Full Refund up to 90 Days before Arrival. 90 - 30 Days prior to Arrival, less the 10% Non-Refundable Deposit, 50% Refund upon Cancellation. Cancellation less than 30 Calendar Days prior to Arrival, Full Forfeiture
