Arrive at Zanzibar International Airport (ZNZ). Transfer to Golden Tulip Resort located 7 km away from Stone Town for relaxation and overnight stay. The Zanzibar archipelago sits in the beautiful Indian Ocean. You will enjoy an Ocean View Room.

Day 2
After a delicious African Breakfast, your Driver Guide will meet you for your first Tour, Zanzibar City, aka Stone Town.

The Capital of Zanzibar, Stone Town is a perfect example of an East Africa Swahili Coastal Trading Town.
Stone Town has unique Culture and Architecture which reflect a combination of Africa, India, Arabia, Persian Gulf Regions, and Europe.
This blend reflects over a thousand years of Zanzibar’s role as a key trading port.

Stone Town and Museums Walking Tour
You will be on a Private Guided Tour, taking you through the narrow streets of the town.
Mercury House
Freddie Mercury was born in Zanzibar and spent his early years in what is now called "Mercury House". Freddie's family had moved to Zanzibar so that his father could continue his job as a cashier at the British Colonial Office. At the age of 17, Mercury and his family fled from Zanzibar for safety reasons due to the 1964 Zanzibar Revolution. At this house you will have a look only outside.

The Museum details Farrokh Bulsara's (aka Freddie Mercury) life, including his birth place, Zanzibar Stone Town.
Open every day of the week, you will be guaranteed opportunity to visit this unique Museum.
Palace Museum
This was the palace of Sultan Seyyid Said from 1828 until it was largely destroyed by the British bombardment of 1896. It was then rebuilt and used until the 1964 revolution, when the last Sultan was overthrown. Outside only.

Spice Farm Tour and Swahili Cooking Lesson
Spice Farm
Zanzibar's nickname is "The Spice Island". The island exports cloves, vanilla, nutmeg, and cardamom to the world. The spices were brought over from Asia and South America. They flourished in Zanzibar’s tropical climate.
Spice Farm Tour
You will walk through the spice farm with your Guide; touch, smell, and taste different spices and tropical fruits. Try to guess one spice or fruit from the other, from the crushed leaves, the fruit, shoots, vines and creepers crawling up the trees. You will learn about the spices’ properties, their origins, and their use as medicines and in food and drink.
A visit to a Spice Farm village gives you an insight into local life and the opportunity to try some Swahili dishes, taste the fruits in season and try some spiced tea. You can find anything from vanilla (the only fruit-bearing plant in the orchid family), cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, turmeric, lemon grass, cloves, ylang ylang, cumin, garlic, ginger, coriander, pepper, allspice,tamarind, chili, oregano and more! Fruits can include banana, pineapple, jackfruit, custard fruit, oranges, star fruit, tangerine, passion fruit, mango, avocado, pear, papaya, grapefruit and many others.
Swahili Cooking Class
Swahili Cooking Lesson
You will be accompanied by your Guide to the kitchen where you will learn how to prepare Swahili dishes by using some spices like cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, ginger, cumin, and coriander.
You will cook rice, coconut sauce, fish, and spinach. Enjoy your Swahili cooking for Lunch.
Following return to Golden Tulip to enjoy your last evening on Zanzibar.

Day 3
Get up bright and early for your flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arriving in Arusha, head immediately for your Morning Coffee Farm and Roasting Tour & Coffee Experience.

Coffee Farm and Roasting Tour & Coffee Experience
You will be taken to the Coffee Farm where you will be given information about the family coffee business. The farm came to be back in the 1920's. You will be taken round the farm and be given a detailed description of coffee in the field with all the various pruning, flowering, and picking cycles.
Following you will experience the Farm’s boutique Coffee Roasting process. First, you will see the complex processes from pulping through to drying. From there you go back to Farmhouse, where you see the roasting and grinding processes.
Skilled Baristas will prepare your choice of Gourmet Coffees.
Your Driver will assist you on finding a delicious Arusha lunch spot. Lunch on own.

Half-Day Arusha Private Tour
In the Afternoon, you will have a full half-day Private Tour of Arusha. This will include Shanga Workshop & Cultural Gallery.
From humble beginnings in 2007, Shanga now employ over 34 locals with disabilities. Truly a self-sustaining socialprenuer venture.
Upon arrival at Shanga,, you will speak with one of the Guides. They will discuss with you your interests and make recommendations on how best to spend your time at Shanga.
After Shaga, your Driver Guide will show you around Arusha. With a population of nearly 620,000 this gateway to the National Parks is truly multi-cultural.
In the evening you will go to Kahawa House (B&B). Six kilometers from the center of Arusha, Kahawa House offers a tranquil stopover before you head out on Safari. Each En-Suite room has a patio. Dinner on own at Kahawa House.
Day 4
After Breakfast transfer to Tarangire National Park. Arrive in time for a late Morning Game Drive. After Lunch at Lodge go for an Afternoon Game Drive

Tarangire National Park
In late May, the Wet Season comes to an end in Tarangire, and African Wildlife surges. There are over 545 Bird Species in Tarangire National Park. Tanangire is home to one of the largeset Elephant populations in Africa, with several herds of up to 300 members per Herd.
Day 5
A special experience at Lemala Mpingo Ridge - Early Morning Safari Walks! After returning from your Safari Walk and Breakfast head out for a Full Day of Game Drives on Safari in Tarangire National Park. You will choose either to have a Picnic Lunch or return to the Camp for Lunch.

Day 6
After Breakfast and an Early Morning Game Drive, you will exit Tarangire National Park by 10:00 AM. You have a Road Transfer to Gibb’s Farm, Located on over 80 acres on the outer slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater, Gibb’s Farm was established in the early 1900’s by a German Duke. Here you will have "Farm to Table” Lunch and Tour, learning about the rich history of Tanzania.
Following you will go to The Retreat at Ngorongoro.

Day 7
Following an early morning Breakfast, with packed Picnic Lunch, head off to the Ngorongoro Crater for a Full Day Game Drive.
Ngorongoro Conservation Area
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the few intact Caldera/Craters in the World. The Crater is Home to the “Big 5” and known for the famous Black Rhinos. If we are lucky, the elusive Leopard may pay Tiffany and Eric a visit, so they may compare to their South African cousins.
Following an exhilarating day on Safari, return to The Retreat at Ngorongoro (FB)
Day 8
After Breakfast, transfer to Manyara Airstrip for a scheduled flight to Serengeti-Seronera Airstrip.
Arrive in time for a Picnic Lunch and an Afternoon Game Drive en-route to the your home for the next three nights, Cherero Camp (FB).
